About Better Every Morning

A while ago, my marriage ended. And with it went the version of life I thought I’d be living. For a while there, mornings were the hardest part — waking up to a life that didn’t look like the plan.

So I started small. One better morning at a time.

This blog is my journal, kept out loud. It’s where I write about rebuilding — not just the big, obvious stuff, but all of it: finding my confidence again, making a home that feels like ours, looking after my health, my money, my headspace, and figuring out who I am now, on my own terms.

I’m doing it while raising two boys, which means most days are equal parts chaos and love. I don’t have it all worked out. Some mornings I get it right, some I don’t. But I keep showing up — and slowly, things are getting better.

I write it down partly to keep myself honest, and partly because I know I’m not the only one starting over. If you’re rebuilding too — after a separation, a loss, or just a life that stopped fitting — I hope something here reminds you that you can do this. One morning at a time.

Pull up a chair. Let’s get a little better, every day.

If any of this sounds like your life right now, come follow along – I post most days.
